Useful Apps, Websites and Links

The majority of our children love technology and this can be hugely beneficial as well as a hindrance!

If you have an Apple device, there is a ‘Guided Access’ feature which means you can lock your device onto one App to prevent your child from changing what you want then to access. See https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202612 on how to enable this. Something similar may well exist for other tablets.

Apps (free but may include in app purchases)

  • CBeebies – Playtime Island, Get Creative, Go Explore
  • Duplo
  • Paint Sparkles Draw
  • Baby Bubble Pop
  • Sensory Magma (variations on this are available)
  • Musical Fireworks 3
  • Thomas and Friends – various
  • Chuggington - various
